The Literate Man does the Book Blogger Hop

Every weekend, Crazy for Books hosts the Book Blogger Hop, where bloggers and readers alike are encouraged to explore the book blogosphere in search of as yet undiscovered snarky reviewers talent.  It is a great place to find out exactly what you have been missing and explore all of the distinct and varying perspectives on both classics and pop lit from our fellow lovers of literature.  It is also an opportunity for bloggers, like The Literate Man, to engage in shameless self-promotion educate the reading public about the valuable perspectives that we offer.  So get on board--do the Hop--and tell them that The Literate Man sent you.

  2. Hi there Literate Man! I found your blog on the blog hop and I just had to come and see what you have to say. I find that the book blogging world seems to be primarily female oriented, so I'm happy to find men reading and writing about it. :)

I couldn't find a followers section, but I've added your blog to Google Reader, and I look forward to more of your reviews. :)

  3. WOW a MAN in the book blogosphere!!! I am so thoroughly impressed! AND i adore Vince Flynn! Do you read James Rollins? The publisher sent me 4 of his Sigma Force books that I'm giving away. What about Steve Berry? Are you a fan of his? I love his writing too! Enjoy your book this weekend!

  4. I also found your blog on the book blogger hop and I'm so glad I did. I thought I was the only member of the male species blogging about books until I landed on your site. I'm a fan!

  5. Thanks, Book Snob. We'll try to keep it real for all the male types out there.

Becky, thanks for pointing that out. Now that we have some followers, I'll put the section back up. It was a little embarrassing when the section was blank--I thought I could actually hear crickets. And I'll come visit you this evening.

Stacy, I have to admit that I'm more of a classics fan, but I do like the odd Clive Cussler--it's like forbidden candy. And I have the strangest addiction to Orson Scott Card. Of the 3 that you mention, who would you recommend? Any particular book?

Howard, it's always nice to meet a fellow traveler. Where can I find your blog? And I think we he-bloggers need to stick together--it's literally an ocean of ckick lit out there.
